Apparently, Thank your Pet Sitter Day is an annual observance dedicated to expressing gratitude to professional pet sitters for their dedication and the quality care they provide to our furry companions when we’re away.
Established by Pet Sitters International (PSI) in 2023, this special day falls on the Wednesday of Professional Pet Sitters Week, which is celebrated during the first full week of March each year.
In 2025, Professional Pet Sitters Week spans from March 2 to March 8, making Thank Your Pet Sitter Day occur on Wednesday, March 5, 2025.
This week-long celebration not only honors the hard work and commitment of pet sitters but also aims to educate pet owners about the benefits of professional in-home pet care and encourages those interested in animal care to consider pet sitting as a viable career option
