Charlotte and Oliver try to be environmentally friendly, we recycle and use eco friendly products.
When we feed your pets, we tend to walk or cycle, unless it is torrential rain.
Do you know cycling saves 90% CO2 emissions over driving? It also keeps us fit.🚴🚴♀️
What is your experience with cats & other pets?
Charlotte has grown up with family pets including cats, dogs, hamsters, rabbits, fish etc.
Charlotte adopted Tim from the Cat Protection charity when he was approximately three years old. He is a super softy. 😻
Prior to Tim, we had Leo, a fluffy, gorgeous, friendly puss, also from Cats Protection.
Oliver’s pride and joy at age five was Twiggles, a super cute Russian dwarf hamster with grey and white fur. 🐹
To this day, I still have the Starsky, a resilient goldfish who is over twenty years old. 🐠❤️
What happens in an emergency?
Blackheath Whiskers cat sitting has pet sitting insurance.
Charlotte is first aid trained and we bring a first aid kit to each visit.
We require emergency contact details and vet details at the time of booking. In the event of an emergency regarding your pets health, or your home, we contact you immediately.
We communicate typically via WhatsApp or email and text.
How much time is spent with my cat?
Blackheath Whiskers cat sitting spend at least 15 minutes per feed but as Oliver absolutely loves cats, it is likely to be much longer!
There will be plenty of time for chin tickles, tummy rubs, play time (only if they want this!).
We feed your pet, change their water, clean the litter tray, and administer medication, if required, ensuring a clean space.
What other pets do you look after?
Blackheath Whiskers feed and care for many pets. We are not limited to cats.
We look after rabbits, tortoises, reptiles, fish, hamsters, gerbils, guinea pigs, stick insects and much more 🐰🐹🐾🐟🐟🐠

Immediate payment to confirm a booking
Once you receive your confirmation email of the dates booked in our diary, we require immediate payment by bank transfer.
As you can imagine, there is a high demand for Blackheath Whiskers cat sitting, especially in school holidays, bank holidays, and over Easter and Christmas.
We want to ensure that we always prioritise regular clients and those who pay to secure their bookings immediately. Thank you. 🙏
16 day cancellation policy
We require 16 days written notice via email to blackheathwhiskers@gmail.com notifying us of any cancellation, and there is no exception to this policy.
100% refund wil be transferred only when 16 days notice is received in writing, otherwise no refund is provided.
All cat food and cat litter must be provided by you
Prior to our cat sitting, it is your responsibility to ensure there is sufficient pet food and litter to cater for the period you are away.
Please provide an necessary pooh bags, and cleaning goods so we can leave your pet space clean and tidy. 🙏
Medical requirements
Prior to our cat sitting, please provide clear and written instructions should your cat and pets have any medical health concerns, injuries, or require the administration of medicines.
Emergencies
Blackheath Whiskers cat sitting are fully insured, and Charlotte has first aid training and is medically trained.
We ensure we have your contact details at the time of booking in the event of an emergency regarding your pets health, or your home.
We communicate typically via WhatsApp with regular updates to put your mind at rest.
